Quality Assurance Coordinator

Our client is a renowned FMCG organisation looking to recruit a Quality Assurance Coordinator to provide day to day coordination, implementing and maintaining quality and safety standards. Your understanding of food safety regulations will contribute to the overall success of the organisation.
 
Reporting to the Food Safety and Quality Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the highest quality and safety standards. Your key responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
 
 

• Implement and manage quality control procedures and protocols throughout the production process.
• Demonstrate high ethical standards whilst fostering a culture of quality awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
• Establish strong relationships with customers and other employees and facilitate a collaborative approach to Quality Assurance.
• Coordinate activities to provide assurance that the site food safety, quality, animal welfare and biosecurity outcomes are continuously met with respect to legislation, customer standards and internal quality systems.
• Assist with the development and implementation of review of the Food Safety and Quality policies and procedures.
• Develop the internal auditing and review programmer ensuring that this is robust and effective in preventing and escalating risks.
• Carryout risk assessments in the event of any process deviations so effective risk management decisions can be made to ensure that there is ample accessible across the business.
• Complete internal audits (GMP and HACCP).

 
 
 
If you are a self-driven quality professional with excellent interpersonal skills, we would like to hear from you! To be considered for this role, you will have the following qualifications and skills:
 

• A degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field.
• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in quality, ideally in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations. HACCP experience will be highly regarded.
• Ability to develop quality procedures, programmes, and product specifications.
