About the role
They will essentially be working with all teams and stakeholders to develop and implement plans to ensure compliance for the NDIS audit. In this role you will be:
- Reviewing the NDIS Quality and Safeguards updates to identify gaps across current policies and procedures
- Investigate complaints and reportable incident notification of violations of the NDIS legalisation rules and code of conduct by TLC Staff and determining responsibility, and imposing appropriate sanctions
- Assist with various reporting and control functions related to NDIS reportable incidents and positive behaviour support plan authorisations
- Actively contribute to, and participate in, compliance promotion and education campaigns to inform and educate TLC employees about requirements of relevant legislation and rules
- Help organise trainings around various aspects and liaise with colleges to outsource trainings.
- Undertake research and analysis, identifying trends and preparing project and policy briefs, to support informed decision-making and planning
- Effectively contributing to the accreditation of TLC's entities including Aged Care and Disability Services.

Skills and experience
- Is prepared to run trainings and potentially inductions.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel
- Data Analytical skills
- A flexible team player who enjoys working in a busy changing environment
- Someone with excellent communication skills and a great sense of humour
- A comprehensive understanding of Quality and risk management principles, frameworks and methodology
- Previous knowledge and understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Guidelines would be highly desirable, as well as the Aged Care Quality and Safety guidelines.
