What will you be doing?
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality, food safety, and legislative requirements
• Provide strong leadership, training and coaching support to the technical and production teams, promoting a strong food safety culture across the company
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and participate in relevant training
• Drive a zero-harm culture with effective implementation of company policies and procedures
What do you need?
We are looking for an experienced QA Officer who has a genuine drive to deliver great outcomes for their team and the wider business.
• A tertiary qualification in Food Science or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role, ideally within the prepared meals sector or equivalent high risk, short shelf-life food products
• Commitment to health, safety and hygiene standards
• An inherent understanding of certification and compliance requirements to a range of quality and food safety standards.
