About you:
- Ideally, a qualified Mechanical Engineer, Manufacturing Engineer, or similar.
- Education/qualifications in quality systems and processes.
- A strong understanding of ISO9001 and AS1579 is imperative.
- Experienced and knowledgeable with welding and welding technologies.
- Experienced with using hand tools and measuring devices.
- Skilled at carrying out audits - internal audits, supplier audits, etc.
- Self motivated and results driven.
- An eye for detail.
- Highly developed report writing skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to engage and build relationships.
- Overall management of the Quality Systems - ISO9001, AS1579, etc.
- Ensuring that products manufactured comply with relevant product standards and specifications.
- Maintaining the companies NATA accreditation.
- Providing technical expertise for ongoing business objectives.
- Continuing to improve the QMS, minimising costs and ensuring compliance.
- Preparing reports and presentations.
- Coordinating with external suppliers and partners.
- Ensuring that audits are conducted in accordance with scheduled audit timeframes.
- Ensuring that procedures and systems are efficient, costs effective and consistent.
- Driving quality initiatives, providing technical services and pursue continuous improvement.
- Other tasks as defined by the CEO and business needs.
In addition to joining a leading Australian manufacturer in a highly visible role, this exciting position offers a salary of up to $160k plus superannuation based on skills and experience.
