The Student Services Assistant is a role that combines front desk reception, customer service with admin. You will provide high quality customer service on our reception front desk and facilitate all aspects of sales transactions, end of day, stock and inventory control and admin support.
The role specifics:
- 2 days per week; Monday and Tuesday (non-negotiable)
- 9am until 3.15pm
- Perm part time ongoing
- Opportunity to do extra hours to cover leave across Waurn Ponds & Waterfront locations
In this job share role your key responsibilities include:
- Processing the sale of merchandise and memberships
- Inventory management, stock control and transferring of stock
- Data entry into the membership database
- Daily banking and reconciliation tasks (eftpos and credit card transactions)
- Sales of miscellaneous items
- Other tasks as required
To be successful in this role you are:
- Enthusiastic and friendly with excellent communication skills
- Eftpos and credit card experience
- A minimum of 2 years' experience with a background in either reception, admin, customer service, warehousing or sales
- Skilled in MS Office particularly Excel and Teams
- A team player who can work autonomously
- Can work the required days and has the flexibility to do extra hours during training and peak times in Feb/March each year
