SCCC is an integral part of the Maronite Community within Western Sydney and SCCC aims to allow consumers to retain their active role within their community.
We are currently seeking a Receptionist to join our team. Reporting directly to the Administration Assistance. The Receptionist role is responsible for providing a high level of customer service to our residents and families and for general administrative and reception duties as detailed in this document.
This is a key role in ensuring that the administrative tasks of the facility are completed as per the requirements under the Aged Care Act whilst upholding St Charbel Care Centre’s vision, mission, and philosophy in line with the Australian Aged Care and Quality Standards. Located in the heart of Punchbowl.

About the role:
- Ensure that St. Charbel's Care Centre's Vision, Mission, Values, and Philosophy of Care are upheld through both words and actions.
- Incorporate the organisation's values into daily work activities.
- Responsibly answer and transfer all incoming calls.
- Perform various administrative duties
- Address general inquiries or direct them to the appropriate person.
- Manage the reception's email address
- Maintain a register of visitors and contractors on-site.
- Comply with the current Work Health and Safety regulations and processes.
About you:
- National Criminal Record Check
- An ability to uphold St Charbel’s Care Centre’s Vison, Mission, Values and Philosophy
- Previous experience in an administration role and reception
- Demonstrated experience working in a highly regulated environment.
- Ability to multi-task in an autonomous capacity
- Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to learn internal software systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Outstanding communication, telephone, and customer service skills
- Bright and friendly demeanor, with a willingness to assist with general enquiries.
Desirable
- Spoken Arabic is highly regarded to assist with consumers, families, and visitors' liaison.
- Prior experience working in an aged care setting and reporting on aged care standards and accreditation.
- Previous experience using Lee Care and other Aged care systems.
