About the role
We have a vacancy in our St Kilda Road office for a self-motivated individual to assist in all aspects of senior administration and reception. We want the ‘wow factor’ and our clients expect it. The successful applicant has the ability to deliver a first-class client experience, is great with people and is able to manage an adaptable moving workload. This is a permanent full-time position, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Previous experience in Financial Planning or Hospitality is not essential but would be advantageous.
This is a role with variety and your duties will include:
- Greeting clients on arrival and providing them with refreshments
- Reception – front desk and telephone
- Client check in and administration support
- Diary Management
- Managing incoming and outgoing mail
- Maintaining a professional appearance of the office and meeting rooms
- Liaising with staff in and out of the office
- Electronic filing and general administrative duties
- Provide support to the Client Services Team as required

Skills and experience
As the candidate will be the first point of contact for our company, we are looking for an individual who has a professional, enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Ideally you have previous experience in a similar role. As this is also a customer service role, the candidate will have a pleasant personality to enhance client experience. You will also be able to deal with emergencies in a timely and effective manner.
