Due to continual growth Japanese Truck and Bus Spares are looking for a reliable Receptionist with an excellent work ethic to join our growing team in Kewdale.
You will be responsible for various warehouse activities including:
- Answer incoming phone calls.
- If it is a Sales related call it is to be shared amongst the Sales Department staff locally and across our branches.
- If non sales related, then refer the call to the correct employee locally or at our branches.
- If any staff member is unavailable or already occupied, then deal with the call in a courteous and satisfactory manner for the caller.
- Update Credit return registry for all branches.
- Be flexible to back up other administrative roles and work as a team member to cover other roles in the event of absent staff members if required.
- Perform all required administrative tasks as requested from time to time.
- Filing of Purchase Orders that have been printed and left in the Eftpos payments tray under the counter at Kewdale.
- Within Reception’s Outlook Inbox - archiving all electronic purchase orders received from Sales staff under current PO year in relevant month.
- Any other administrative tasks as required between taking calls and messages.
You will need to:
- Demonstrate an excellent attendance record.
- Have a high attention to detail.
- Have good written and spoken communication skills.
- Have a basic level of computer Literacy.
- Be able to work well within a team.
- Be dedicated to working in a safe manner and satisfying customer needs.
- Current Driver's Licence - essential.
- Be willing to attend a Pre-Employment medical.
