Why this role matters Corps is a community-focused church, partnering with the wider community to help transform one life at a time with the love of Jesus, this is achieved through Community Support.About the roleWe are seeking a values-driven Receptionist and Administration Assistant who will provide efficient reception, administration and organisational support to the Team Leader, Goodna and Corps Officer, Inala, in order to enhance outcomes and to support the operational management of Goodna Soundpoint/Inala Corps.You will successfullyPerform general administration and clerical activities within Goodna/Inala, including filing (electronic and hard copy), minute taking, rosters, processing mail, general correspondence, processing orders, and paying accounts.Manage all data for mission volunteers including integrity checks & induction of volunteers, including; blue cards, child safety, code of conduct.Ensure all administrative documentation is processed within designated timeframes and is accurate and correct.Manage all other data entry requirements into centralised or local databases to ensure the efficient flow of information from front line, including SAMIS data entry.Support and production of electronic and printed media including word documents, newsletters, PowerPoints, photos, videos, for social media and other site requirements.You will have3+ years administration office/practice experience working with some level of autonomySound presentation and communication skills (both oral and written) to be able to interact positively with a variety of people.Demonstrated ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.Demonstrated ability to exercise initiative and discretion.Solid level of computer literacy in MS Office (including Excel, Powerpoint and Word) and understanding of computerised centralised accounting systems and other centralised general databases.Certificate in Business Administration and/or extensive experience.Valid Queensland Blue CardCurrent and valid driver's licenceThis is a Permanent, Part-Time (20hrs per week, working Monday to Thursday 5hrs a day). This position is mainly based in Goodna (Mon, Tues, Thurs) and at Inala (Wed).
