We are seeking enthusiastic individuals, passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, to join our expanding Avive team to fulfil a variety of permanent part time and casual positions. As an Avive administrator/receptionist you will receive comprehensive training to deliver a broad range of administrative functions across our unique inpatient, outpatient and consulting services.
Avive Clinic Brisbane is a New 63 bed private facility that aims to set a New benchmark in private Mental Health care. It is one of the first of Avive's pipeline of private Mental Health facilities to be developed across the country under a unique business model, where clinicians are critical to the development of facilities, treatment and care. Embracing new technology, the facility will include a fully electronic patient clinical record and patient engagement system.

About the Role
You will be joining a friendly and supportive administrative team who work between several departments.
Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Front reception administration duties
- Patient pre-admissions
- Reviewing and submitting patients’ relevant paperwork
- Processing patient Health Fund Information.
This is a fast-paced position and a crucial part of ensuring our patient’s journey through the hospital is as smooth as possible. You will report to the Administration Team Leader.
Your skills and experiences
The ability to converse and be empathetic while managing a busy flow of admissions and discharges is a key skill needed for this role.
You will have strong communication and interpersonal skills and should be comfortable working in a team of doctors, nurses, allied health, administrators, and support services staff.
You will also bring:
- Previous medical administration experience
- Experience managing patient pre-admissions (desirable)
- Confident in reviewing patient’s health fund eligibility
- A positive and welcoming customer service skillset
- An understanding of medical terminology is preferable
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a high-performing team
- Strong computer skills with a clear understanding of the MS Office suite
- Any relevant administrative qualifications will be highly regarded.
- The ability to work with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated data entry skills, including accuracy and speed
- Experience in Medical Director (desirable)
- Typing skills (desired)
