We are seeking an experienced Receptionist with a customer centric attitude to join our Corporate Head Office in Melbourne CBD.
Your primary objective is ensuring excellent customer service is delivered to all visitors and callers received to the Melbourne office.
What you will do:
Visitors, Callers and Customer Service
- Be present at the Sydney reception between reception open hours (8.45am to 5.15pm).
- Meet and greet all visitors and ensure they are signed in and appropriately managed.
- Answer all incoming calls and actioned in a timely, professional and accurate manner.
- Timely and accurate management of courier orders and deliveries, catering and/or event supplies deliveries, incoming and outgoing mail.
- Submit monthly office supplies order.
- Complete office walk-through at the start and end of every day to ensure all areas are operational and ready for use. Manage the activation of the operable wall in Meeting rooms 1 & 2 when required.
- Maintain a clean desk policy, ensuring a professional and safe reception environment.
- Maintain clean office environment including kitchen, reception area, meeting rooms and work areas.
- Manage local suppliers such as security bins, plants, cleaners, etc.
- Manage visitor security cards & register and the locker allocation & register.
- Supervise daily work schedule.
- First point of call for any concerns, issues.
- Liaison with Job Support and/or family when required.
- Working with the business with monthly events (e.g. Birthdays, Melb cup etc.) ensuring the breakout area is set up for the events with the relevant furnishings & equipment.
- Working closely with business units to plan and host events within the office.
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude; have a high attention to detail; and be flexible and approachable.
- Deliver excellent customer service both internally and externally.
- Maintain consistent positive and professional management of first impressions.
- Ensure telephone calls are received and actioned in a timely and professional manner.
- Behaviours aligned to group core principles.
- Maintaining quality by reporting issues and making suggestions for improvement.
- Help sustain a positive work environment.
- Can deal with high volumes of traffic on certain days with notice in the reception area as the reception assist with Bulk Recruitment coordination.
- Administration or support roles.
