The Position:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and friendly Receptionist to join our team in a permanent Part-time capacity. This role is 2.5 days a week from 8:20 am to 5:00 pm. This position would suit a student or working parent.
Reception:
- Attending to incoming calls promptly efficiently and professionally
- Coordination of mail and parcels distribution (incoming, outgoing, internal, couriers and Aust Post)
- Raising and receiving of purchase orders
- Sorting and distribution of daily mail and parcels Internal and external.
- Ensuring the smooth running of the Reception area
- Visitors sign in/sign out ? ensure all visitors sign in and sign out on the Swiped On system
- Board Room and Meeting rooms to be kept neat and tidy in between meetings and end of day
- Maintain the Reception work station and mail room neat and tidy
- Stationery and cleaning supplies ? Place weekly and adhoc orders
- Kitchen supplies ? Place weekly and adhoc orders
- Daily kitchen stock checks and end of day tiding
- Weekly stationery stock check
- As this is a job share role you will be required to collaborate with your job share counter part.
IT and Office Equipment:
- Distribute Guest Wi-Fi to visitors when required
- Book Boardrooms and Meetings rooms on Outlook when requested
It is preferable that the successful candidate will -
- have intermediate Microsoft Word and Excel Skills
- have great customer service skills
- have great all round communication skills
- be capable of understanding and following instructions
- have good English reading, writing and speaking skills
- a great telephone manner
- have great attention to detail skills
- be well organized and be able to manage their duties within specified timeframes
- be able to maintain good working relationships with other work colleagues
- be pro-active and able to work autonomously
- be able to meet our pre-employment requirements that include drug and alcohol screening (DAS) as well as random DAS.
