RED OHMS Group is a leading consultancy servicing the resources, oil/gas, construction, manufacturing, agriculture, education, infrastructure, and federal/state/local government sectors across Australia. We specialise in providing occupational hygiene, environment, and hazardous materials services, training, support, and solutions for our clients.
We have a team of eight Certified Occupational Hygienists within a national team of approximately 90 and growing!
Our leadership, technical, operations, and capital support are based around the country in Perth (Head Office), Sydney, Brisbane, Darwin, and Kalgoorlie.

The opportunity
We are currently seeking a Regional Manager who is passionate about building high-performing teams and has a track record in leadership and achieving growth targets.
Reporting to the Managing Director – Operations (based in our Head Office in West Perth) you will play a pivotal, senior key role in winning and managing large scale portfolio level projects in metropolitan and regional areas for different markets.
Key responsibilities
- Providing strategic leadership to achieve P&L targets
- Fostering a high-performance environment through effective people leadership
- Develop and manage macro business development strategies and key stakeholder relationships to identify and secure the sustainable growth of the company
- Build sustainable internal and external stakeholder relationships
- Develop and execute relevant strategic, tactical, and operational strategies and objectives
- Monitor, evaluate, and report on key performance objectives and targets
- Execute legislative, contractual, and internal reporting requirements
- Health and safety responsibilities in compliance with current legislation
- Manage budgetary requirements
- Review and report on governing reforms, industry trends, and sector developments to ensure currency of knowledge
- Monitor and review performances against relevant client master services agreements
- Review and determine resource (people and assets) utilisation rates for sustainable efficiencies
- Direct recruitment and training processes in response to business unit requirements
- Drive and audit contractor and supplier management processes
- Drive the quality management systems
About you
To succeed in this position you'll have a blend of leadership acumen, strategic thinking, and a results-driven mindset.
You will bring the following
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline
- Proven experience in multi-site management
- Strong financial acumen, including P&L management
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and develop teams
- Familiarity with Occupational Hygiene/Hazmat and industry trends would be highly regarded but not essential
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite and relevant operational software
- Proactive problem-solving approach and a willingness to adapt in a dynamic environment
- Experience in operating in agile medium/medium-large sized business
