Reporting to the National People & Culture Manager, the successful candidate will play a crucial role by determining personnel requirements, providing ongoing support to project managers, and collaborating on resource management with multiple teams within our organisation.
How will you help contribute to our success?
- Assigning available Consultants to work based on their skills and experience
- Communicating project allocations to consultants, and working closely with management if there are any objections or concerns
- Monitoring Consultant utilisation
- Maintaining Consultants’ skills and profile requirements
- Being the conduit for Project Briefs between Sales and Delivery
- Project Manager support - Oversee a kick off list, and coordination of smaller projects, including kick off meetings and client onboarding
- Being responsible for assigning a Principal Consultant to Sales opportunity development
- Assigning bench tasks to Consultants who are in between projects
- Hosting the allocation element of the weekly talent meetings and tracking assignment decisions
- Closely collaborating with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure they have an awareness of upcoming resourcing gaps
- Updating resourcing in the timesheeting and allocation system (Project Works)
- Track training plans and progress towards them including reporting quarterly
- Providing allocation certainty or lack of data against new opportunities and notifying sales and Talent Acquisition (Power BI report)
- Coordinating Defence Clearance submissions in collaboration with the National P&C Manager
- Ensure project status reporting is up to date in the CRM delivery module and highlight issues to the National Operations Manager for review and action, as well as provide the National Operations Manager with reporting as required
- Input into the managed services roster and onboarding of new managed services contracts
What skills does our ideal candidate have?
- Previous experience in a very fast paced resource coordination and or scheduling type role
- Exposure to Project Management
- Proficiency in CRM and Project Management software.
- Experience in IT Consulting industry
- Ability to build strong relationships and earn trust within the broader team
- Tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resource or related field is desirable
