By 2026, around 28,000 people will use Parramatta Light Rail every day and an estimated 130,000 people will be living within walking distance of Light Rail stops.

The role

The Rostering and Planning Advisor has both an operational and strategic role to play in our business. Strategically you will lead continuous improvement projects, collaborating with key stakeholders, consulting with the roster committee and create buy-in for proposed network and timetable changes.

What you bring

The successful candidate will have highly-developed IT skills including a thorough understanding of rostering or planning systems. You will possess a solutions focused approach informed by critical thinking and excellent analytical skills enabling you to develop and deliver meaningful reports. Having worked in a similar position you will be fully across the statutory, regulatory and safety procedures required in Rostering and Planning timetables. Key to the success of the role will be your ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline driven business whilst maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.

The role

Based at our Camellia Depot, Parramatta and reporting to the Sourcing and Supply Chain Manager this role is a key support to the asset management team and is responsible for the planning for spare parts, consumables, tools and reman programs across the whole Parramatta Light Rail network. What you bring

This will be supported by exposure to a governance structure in a parts-buying environment. In addition, you will possess the ability to influence and build effective working relationships both internally and externally with a focus on vendor engagement / management.
