- Coordinating safe work procedures, ensuring full compliance with the Safety Management system, along with relevant legislation, and standards.
- Continuously reviewing and updating the WHS management plans, processes, and procedures.
- Providing training, consultation, monitoring, and governance to support stakeholders and ensure strict adherence to the Mining WHS regulations and procedures.
- Regularly reviewing and maintaining all Safety Management Plan.
- Assisting in the implementation and enhancement of company policies and procedures.
- Upholding professional standards while aligning with company objectives regarding service quality, reputation, Mining WHS legislative requirements, and standards.
- Offering guidance and advice to leaders and workers on health and safety requirements under Mining Workplace Health & Safety legislation, fostering a positive health and safety culture.
- Keeping abreast of current legislation and standards.
- Providing advice, training, consultation, monitoring, and governance for compliance to the Senior Leadership team and field workers.
- Conducting planned site inspections and ensuring swift resolution of identified hazards.
- Actively promoting the Company's Hazard Identification, Assessment, and Risk Control.
- Conducting comprehensive incident investigations, including ICAMS, and ensuring the effectiveness of implemented controls.
- Plan to mitigate identified risks.
- Executing thorough Site Comprehensive Inspections.
