About the Role:
This role is a perfect opportunity for a senior hard-working, senior ambitious Sales and Marketing professional who wishes to break through the shackles of conventional roles and aspires to shoulder broad responsibilities.
As an integral member of a small team, you will be required to identify new customers, build relations and grow new product segments and markets. You will be keen to understand customer pain points and be able to demonstrate how these can be resolved using our technology, equipment and products. We are passionate about continuous improvement and your analysis of customer issues will feed directly into new improvements and widen our product offering.
While you will be supported with comprehensive training, you will bring with you strong knowledge and skills of the blast and coatings industry. There will be plenty of room for creative freedom, initiative and you will be given ownership of key marketing projects including developing demonstration videos, launching social media campaigns and designing product brochures and building a customer community.
The role involves regular travel around Australia and attending to occasional customer calls outside of regular hours.
Skills required:
- Proven technical sales experience in paint and spray equipment, abrasive equipment or related industry
- Hands on – operational skills to assist in equipment servicing and manufacturing
- Ability to quickly grasp technical details and troubleshoot customer issues remotely through good problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills – verbal and written.
- Proficiency with computers
- Savvy with marketing and polished in communicating with customers through email, social media and phone
