SALES & SERVICE ADMINISTRATOR

We are seeking a versatile and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Sales and Service Administrator. This role encompasses responsibilities related to managing our wine club as well as supporting retail and wholesale sales activities. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional organisational skills, strong communication abilities, and a passion for delivering outstanding service to both retail customers and wholesale partners.

Salary: 

Commensurate with experience. This is a full time (1.0 FTE) position based at Rowlee Wines, 19 Lake Canobolas Road, Nashdale (just outside of Orange in NSW). The role can be performed as a mix of onsite and work from home.

As part of the Rowlee experience, our cellar door is open to visitors to immerse themselves in a range of wine experiences. Our private guesthouse offers the boutique exclusivity of our wines in a relaxing getaway option for friends and couples. 

In addition, the Rowlee Wine Club, gives members exclusive access to early and limited release wines, as well as invitations to curated gastronomic events, bringing you into our world.

Opened in May 2024 our on-site restaurant, Rowlee Dining and Bar is a place where visitors can enjoy our wine alongside the freshest local produce from across the region.

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

1. Wine Club Administration:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the wine club, including membership management, renewal processing, and member communications.
  • Engage with wine club members to update their details, address inquiries, and provide personalised assistance to enhance their membership experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of wine club shipments, promotions, and events.

2. Sales Support:

  • Assist in managing wholesale accounts, including order processing, invoicing, and logistics coordination.
  • Communicate regularly with wholesale customers to address inquiries, provide product information, and support their ordering needs.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify opportunities for expanding wholesale partnerships and driving sales growth.

3. Order Processing:

  • Process incoming orders from both wine club members and wholesale customers accurately and efficiently using our CRM and order management systems.
  • Coordinate with the fulfilment team to ensure orders are packed, shipped, and delivered in a timely manner, meeting customer expectations.

4. Packing of Orders:

  • Perform physical tasks, including packing wine orders weighing up to 16kg, with meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy and product integrity.
  • Maintain a clean and organised packing area to facilitate efficient order fulfilment for both retail and wholesale orders.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous experience in customer service, sales support, or administrative roles, preferably in the wine industry.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Excellent organisational abilities and attention to detail, with the capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in using computer systems and software, including CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Physical capability to lift and carry boxes weighing up to 16kg as part of order packing responsibilities.
  • Enthusiasm for wine and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to customers and wholesale partners alike.
  • Responsible Service of Alcohol certificate or willingness to obtain.
