About the role
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a pivotal role in our sales organisation, serving as the initial point of contact for inbound leads.
This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about technology, excel in communication, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
As an SDR, you will be responsible for qualifying leads, understanding customer needs, and scheduling product demonstrations for our Sales Representatives.
Position is for someone who is Brisbane/Gold Coast based. Uncapped commission. Being a work from home role you will need to have suitable space for office set up.
Responsibilities
- Lead Qualification: Efficiently manage inbound leads through various channels, including email, phone and web. Qualify leads based on predefined criteria to ensure alignment with our target market and ideal customer profile.
- Product Education: Possess in-depth knowledge of our SaaS product and its value propositions.
- Demo Scheduling: Work closely with Sales Representatives to schedule product demonstrations tailored to the prospect's requirements and availability.
- Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of lead interactions and updates in the CRM system. Track key metrics such as conversion rates, lead quality, and pipeline velocity to drive continuous improvement in sales efficiency and effectiveness.
- Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing and Sales, to optimise lead generation efforts and streamline the sales process. Provide valuable feedback on lead quality and campaign performance to enhance overall lead generation strategies.

- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or lead generation role, preferably in a SaaS environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with prospects quickly.
- Results-oriented mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets and KPIs.
- Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and other sales productivity tools.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and adaptable to change in a rapidly evolving industry.
