As a Sales Engineering Manager you will lead their Sales Engineering team for Battery Energy Storage Systems and will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing the technical aspects of the sales process. This individual will closely collaborate with the sales team, customers, and key stakeholders to understand their Energy Storage needs, provide technical solutions, and ensure successful project implementation. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the expansion of the Energy Storage market and make a significant impact in the clean energy sector.
Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the sales team to identify customer needs and develop tailored Battery Energy Storage solutions.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the sales process, including product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proposal development.
  • Conduct site assessments and evaluations to determine the feasibility and suitability of Battery Energy Storage Systems for customer requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on Energy Storage solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to drive competitive positioning and differentiation.
  • Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project implementation.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to customers, showcasing the benefits and value proposition of our client's Battery Energy Storage Systems.
  • Provide input and insights to the product development team based on customer feedback and market trends.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • Proven experience in Sales Engineering or technical sales roles, preferably in the Battery Energy Storage or renewable energy industry.
  • Strong technical knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective customer relationships.
  • Ability to understand customer needs and translate them into tailored Energy Storage solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and negotiation skills to drive sales and meet revenue targets.
  • Familiarity with project management principles and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, result-oriented, and able to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally to meet customers and attend industry events.
