As a Sales Lead Generator, your primary responsibility will be to generate high-quality leads and create opportunities for our client, who specializes in Industrial Automation Software solutions. You will play a crucial role in driving sales growth by identifying and engaging potential customers in various industries. Your focus will be on initiating conversations, building relationships, and qualifying leads to ensure a steady pipeline of prospective customers for the sales team.
Responsibilities:
  • Lead Generation: Proactively identify and research potential customers in industries that require Industrial Automation Software solutions.
  • Prospecting: Reach out to leads via email, phone calls, and other communication channels to initiate conversations, build rapport, and generate interest in our client's Industrial Automation Software solutions.
  • Qualification: Conduct thorough qualification of leads by understanding their automation requirements, pain points, budgets, and timelines. Evaluate their potential as viable sales opportunities and gather relevant information to pass onto the sales team.
  • Relationship Building: Nurture leads by maintaining regular communication, providing valuable information about Industrial Automation Software, and addressing their queries or concerns. Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and influencers to increase the likelihood of successful conversions.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the sales team to align on lead generation strategies, provide feedback on lead quality, and refine the lead qualification process. Act as a bridge between the marketing and sales departments, ensuring seamless coordination and smooth handover of qualified leads.
  • Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our client's Industrial Automation Software solutions, including their features, benefits, and how they can address specific industry needs. Stay up to date with industry trends and competitor offerings to effectively communicate the value proposition to potential customers.
  • Reporting: Keep accurate records of lead generation activities, customer interactions, and sales pipeline progress using CRM software. Provide regular reports and updates on lead generation efforts, conversion rates, and key performance indicators to the management team.
Qualifications:
  • Industry Knowledge: Solid understanding of Industrial Automation processes and the role of software solutions within this domain. Familiarity with various industries that rely on Industrial Automation, such as manufacturing, logistics, energy, or automotive.
  • Sales and Lead Generation Experience: Previous experience in B2B sales or lead generation roles, preferably within the Industrial Automation Software sector. Proven track record of successfully identifying and qualifying leads to drive sales growth.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts related to Industrial Automation Software in a clear and concise manner. Active listening skills to understand customer requirements and tailor conversations accordingly.
  • Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport and trust with potential customers. Ability to engage and influence key decision-makers, understanding their pain points and offering software solutions that meet their needs.
  • Self-Motivation: Results-driven mindset with the ability to work independently and proactively. A self-starter who can effectively manage time and prioritize tasks to meet or exceed lead generation targets.
  • Technology Proficiency: Proficiency in understanding and demonstrating Industrial Automation Software solutions. Familiarity with CRM software, email marketing tools, and other relevant lead generation and management platforms.
