Position Summary
This role is the key point of contact between Solomons Flooring (Goldfields) and its clients. In general, the Sales Manager spends their day answering queries, offering advice and introducing new products to the public, organizing sales visits to client properties, demonstrating/presenting products to existing clients, establishing new business and follow-up leads. The successful applicant will also be part of a small and dynamic Kalgoorlie based team.
Selection Criteria
- Three to five years in sales representative role, within industry preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with data entry, analysis and reporting

Role Requirements
- Manage day-to-day performance of all sales, including customer service, client management
- and generating new sales leads.
- Track sales metrics and report data to management on a regular basis.
- Embody company culture and maintain high levels of engagement.
- Meet pre-determined revenue goals through management of sales activities.
- Work independently and with the Directors regarding consistent lead generation.
- Work independently and with the Directors to generate ideas for sales/initiatives.
- Collaborate with management on sales technology initiatives.
- Train new salespeople to ensure adherence to sales process and actively promote success.
Key Tasks
- Handle sales enquiries from the public and clients; attending the store, by telephone or via
- emails.
- Look after the customer through all stages of the transaction; from initial enquiry, point of sale,
- installation of product and receiving final payment.
- Actively assist in the development of customer leads; including following up on quotes
- generated and not yet translated into sales.
- Liaise with clients to ensure proper understand of their requirements, in order to generate and
- present quotes and tenders.
- Receive and receipt monies including EFTPOS, cash and cheques.
- Generate tax invoices within our Solomons POS programme in accordance with the floor plan and quote, ensuring accuracy and consistency with quoted prices.
