AddressWe’re seeking a passionate and customer focused Sales Manager to join our Brickworks QLD team.
This role can be located at Rochedale, Yatala or Caloundra.
Reporting to the General Manager Brickworks QLD, you will be responsible for controlling the sale of Brickworks products/services in an allocated region, division or state to achieve sales forecasts.
Duties include but are not limited to
• Assist in the development of sales policy, recommend product line revisions as well as pricing changes.
• Control the sales organisation and distribution of products/services within a defined region, division or State.
• Promote relations with dealers, distributors and customers, and maintain contact with major accounts.
• Lead, manage, develop and inspire the sales team, assessing their performance against established goals.
• Prepare special and regular sales reports for management.
• Monitor new product launches, promotions, advertising and merchandising activities and attend meetings and presentations.
• Prepare contracts and supervise agreements with customers.
• Recruit necessary sales staff and oversees their training requirements.
• Resolve customer complaints/issues within required time frames.
• Ensure the effective use of a CRM database.
• Oversee daily activities of the sales teams to implement the organisations overall sales strategy within the designated region.
• Develop sales plans, activities and campaigns and prepare sales forecasts and budgets.
Success Requirements
• Proven success in sales management, with at least 3 years of experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the building industry and building products (preferred).
• A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline (preferred).
• Demonstrated leadership skills, including coaching, mentoring, and team development.
• Excellent customer service skills and proven ability to build strong relationships.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Analytical mindset and ability to interpret data to drive informed decisions.
• A collaborative approach and a strong desire to contribute to a positive team environment.
