About the role
We an have exciting opportunity for Sales Representative to join our newly established team, based in Melbourne VIC.
- Identify and provide strategies to win new business within the state
- Present our diverse range of food products to potential customers
- Manage a wide range of established accounts within the state
- Up selling the product portfolio to add ranging to all customers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market dynamics to identify new sales opportunities
- Ensure all stores in the state are maintained and maximised
- Visiting Customers completing necessary order taking
- Delivering Customer orders and merchandising the stock to company standards
- Achieving your annual sales budget targets (sales to budget)
- Managing the customer experience in the state with an End to End mindset - Onboard; Order; Deliver; Merchandise
- Work with internal key stakeholders to execute the strategic marketing plans
- Actively pursue new end user accounts to increase area/key account potential; and
- Establish administrative processes and procedures to monitor the results of assignments or projects.
- Perform general administration
- Any other tasks as requested by the senior manager or CEO

Skills and experience
- A proven performer in delivering results in sales.
- Strong communication and influencing skills and are both energetic and engaging with a strong commercial focus.
- Excellent business acumen with an understanding of profit management, business planning, delivering on performance and revenue targets and implementing clear strategies.
- 3 - 5 years' experience in similar capacity (Foodservice or Food industry experience is well regarded and certainly preferred, but not essential)
- Background in the food and meat industry
- Car License
- Confident to work autonomously, but also work closely within our entire National sales team.
