Your Not-For-Profit organisation is located in the inner suburb of Melbourne. The organisation is community-based and driven to improve women's health & welfare.
Your new role
As a Senior Accountant, you will be reporting directly to the Finance Director and working together to manage the team - 0.8 FTE
See your duties below:
- Oversee overall financial management, planning systems and controls
- Develop and monitor the annual budget and monthly cash flow
- Assist budget development for tenders and submissions
- Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of performance against budget, financial and operational goals
- Provide monthly financial reports to the Finance and Audit Committee Team and Board
- Develop and improve systems to efficiently administer payroll
- Oversee processing of accounts using XERO
- Reconcile monthly activity, generate year-end reports and file tax-related and year-end payroll requirements
- Prepare and manage annual audit

- Ability to obtain Police Clearance
- Demonstrate experience in a similar role
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
- Working knowledge of an ERP system
- XERO experience - Bonus
