Reporting to the Senior Category & Shopper Marketing Manager, you will be charged to drive the development, engagement and execution of the 1 - 3 year ANZ category growth strategy both internally and externally to our National Account customers: Endeavour Group & Coles Liquor. You will be responsible for leading cross-functional engagement to translate this strategy into a commercial operating plan.
- Develop the Category Growth Strategy for the business and lead the Category Planning process to translate strategy to commercial execution
- Lead long-term brand planning and validate the NPD funnel for the portfolio
- Drive strategic alignment with customers through joint category and business planning
- Execute category reviews and deliver optimal category growth with key customers
- Analyse category performance, provide detailed business insights, and develop compelling category insights to drive growth
About you
You possess strong commercial acumen and experience in commercial sales roles, brand roles, or category management. You can influence at all levels and drive organisational change to be customer and consumer-centric. Your experience in leading long-term thinking while ensuring short-term delivery, as well as your knowledge of the FMCG industry, will be crucial in meeting the goals and objectives of this role.
- People management and leadership experience, preferably within category management/insight
- Knowledge and experience in selling in National and Indies sales accounts
- Excellent analytical and communication skills to provide market, competitor, and technology trends in laymen's terms
- Strong planning and project management skills
- Proficient in Quantium and/or Circana Synergy scan tools
