The Manager of Minor Projects within our Property, Infrastructure & Facilities Team will oversee the safe, cost-effective, and timely planning, execution, and completion of projects in accordance with the policies, procedures, and quality standards of the Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust.
The Role:
As the Senior Facilities Coordinator at SMCT, you'll play an essential role in ensuring the efficient functioning of our facilities, fostering a safe, comfortable, and productive work environment for our staff. Reporting directly to the Facilities Maintenance Manager, you'll oversee the implementation of preventative maintenance programs to safeguard our assets' reliability and longevity. Your meticulous nature and proactive approach will be instrumental in maintaining our facilities to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for critical equipment and systems.
- Collaborate with department heads to establish inspection and servicing schedules.
- Maintain accurate records of assets and space allocations using AIMS software.
- Coordinate maintenance activities to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturer specifications, industry standards, and regulations.
- Generate reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and compliance.
- Manage the facilities budget, forecasting expenses and tracking expenditures.
- Review and approve invoices and expenses related to facility operations.
About you:
We're looking for someone with the following:
- Experience in maintenance management, with a focus on preventative maintenance programs.
- Experience in delivering AMAF or ISO 55001 asset management framework.
- Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems.
- Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards (preferred).
- Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and vendor contracts.
