About Us

Aurelia Metals Limited (ASX: AMI) (‘Aurelia’) is an Australian gold and base metals mining and exploration company. We own and operate two underground mines and processing facilities in New South Wales (NSW) and have an enviable portfolio of organic growth prospects in the region.

Our Peak Mine comprises several underground polymetallic (gold, lead, zinc, copper, and silver) and an 800 thousand tonnes per annum (ktpa) processing plant. The Mine is located in the northern Cobar Basin in western NSW, a short distance from the historical town of Cobar.

The Federation deposit hosts high-grade zinc, lead, and gold mineralisation and is located in 15 kilometres south of the central-west township of Nymagee. – this is a new mine site opening not to be missed!

The Role

Step into a pivotal role at Aurelia Metals Limited as our Senior HR and Remuneration and Benefits Specialist, covering a 12-month maternity leave. This opportunity is a beacon for those passionate about shaping a future proof, equitable Remuneration and Benefits Framework and Strategy. With a blend of specialist governance and generalist HR advice responsibilities, your days will be filled with dynamic, impactful work, particularly supporting our vibrant corporate office and NSW mines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the revitalisation and management of our Remuneration Framework and Strategy, ensuring it's not just competitive, but forward-thinking and inclusive.
  • Undertake comprehensive market research to align our remuneration and benefits with industry benchmarks and our strategic vision, fostering a culture that celebrates and supports our diverse workforce.
  • Champion our remuneration survey submissions, leveraging this data to maintain a pulse on competitive positioning for all roles within the organisation, from staff to executive levels.
  • Innovate and enhance our Benefit programs, solidifying our reputation as an employer of choice for ambitious professionals looking for a workplace that values their contributions and wellbeing.
  • Oversee the Performance and Salary Review Cycle, ensuring it reflects our commitment to fairness, excellence, and recognition.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for HR matters within the Corporate Office, offering guidance that's both insightful and inclusive.

About You

  • You hold a Tertiary Qualification in HR, Business, or Commerce, paired with a robust background in Human Resources and Remuneration roles.
  • Your expertise in remuneration and benefit design is complemented by an understanding of best practices, industry trends, and the regulatory landscape.
  • A strategic mindset and exceptional analytical abilities enable you to navigate complex challenges and drive meaningful progress.
  • You're a communicator at heart, with the skills to build relationships, influence decisions, and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the Microsoft suite is crucial, as is your ability to delve into details without losing sight of the big picture.
  • While mining or heavy industry experience is a plus, your proven track record across the HR life cycle speaks volumes about your capabilities and adaptability.
