The Opportunity
We have an opportunity available for a Senior People Advisor to join our Workforce Services team. Within this role you will partner with a dedicated HRBP to support an aligned client group within the business. You will be instrumental in working within a collaborative team to allocate workflow, cases and tasks across the Tier 1 HR service model. You will proactively partner with your client group on all employee matters. There is opportunity for the successful incumbent to have exposure to Employee relations work so an interest or qualification in this area would be highly regarded.
To do this successfully you will:
- Provide end to end HR services including Tier 1 support, case management (including performance management) and coach People Leaders on employee matters.
- Coordinate workflow within the People Advisory and HR Business Processes
- Provide employee centric services in alignment with the People & Culture Service Delivery Model; assessing and handling query volumes, response times and performance to SLA’s
- Be able to own and resolve colleague and People Leader case escalations
- Build and improve the quality of Tier 0 Knowledge Base Articles and Workday content making sure the content remains current, useful, consistent and accessible
- Adapt an employee experience focussed, continuous improvement practice to improve processes, process documentation and data accuracy.
- Develop excellent working relationships across the P&C team and the broader business at both a people leader and employee level
- Work closely with the Employee Relations and Policy Manager to provide additional support in this space as required
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Law or similar
- Previous experience working in a role within HR service delivery and in HR Service Desk Management
- Prior Workday experience in handling HR data, queries and knowledge management
- A high level understanding of HR principles and practices with the confidence to make recommendations and improvements and implement them optimally
- Exceptional customer engagement skills across senior leadership and employees
