The UTS Property portfolio comprises about 60 buildings with 400,000 sqm of Retail, Commercial, Research and Education facilities.
The inner-city campus was transformed through a $1.5 billion investment, which has delivered four award-winning buildings, including internationally renowned architect Frank Gehry's first Australian venture. About the Team
The Property Unit is responsible for the planning, development, space management, maintenance, operations and security of the University's property & grounds portfolio in order to achieve the most efficient use of those resources to best meet the University's teaching, research and community service requirements.
The Facilities Management Branch manages the University built environment including a strong leased retail and commercial real estate pipeline. Its core activities include Retail & Commercial leasing, Property Management and the upkeep and planning of the build environment. It provides safe a functional space through strategic operations and stakeholder engagement. It informs the overall campus masterplan and provides strategic foresight into asset longevity and opportunity.

About the Role
As the Senior Property Asset Manager, you will bring a strategy lens to the UTS property portfolio, developing and delivering property strategies to maximise benefit and reduce risk. You will deal with time critical elements daily and manage a range of academic and professional stakeholders. You will be detailed and methodological.
You'll be an experienced senior leader who has managed large complex property portfolios, with an understand of property valuations, acquisitions & disposals. You will have significant exposure to commercial and retail leasing and management.
Importantly, you will bring retail management capability and develop strategies to attract and retain reputable F&B businesses. Additional, with over 65 commercial leases, your strategic mindset will be invaluable when securing and managing long-term partnerships. You will advance our 'event hire' function by managing an effective team through change.
You will be a leader of property professionals, a strategic thinker who impowers and supports their team. You will be a meticulous planner and responsive to property needs. Managing competing priorities will be critical in this role.

Remuneration/Salary
A competitive and comprehensive remuneration package will be offered.
This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full time and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
