Are you a finance enthusiast with a passion for numbers and a knack for delivering financial insights that drive strategic decisions? We are on the hunt for a Senior Management Accountant - Projects to play a pivotal role in our dynamic Record to Report function.
What You'll Do:
- Decode the Numbers: Provide accurate financial information and insights that empower SEEK's strategic decisions.
- Collaborative Genius: Partner with cross-functional teams and Finance Business Partners to create monthly management reports, process enhancements, and commercial insights.
- Tell the Story: Prepare, deliver, and interpret financial reports, conveying drivers and implications for future performance.
- The Analyst's Eye: Dive deep into financial data to uncover trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Guardian of Compliance: Ensure we're always in line with financial regulations and accounting standards.
- Process Whisperer: Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and elevate efficiency and accuracy.
- Team Mentor: Guide and mentor junior team members to greatness and collaborate to enhance the speed and automation of financial data capture, reconciliation, reporting, analysis, and insight generation.
Qualifications
What We Need from You:
- CA/CPA designation or equivalent
- Experience in business unit P&Ls and balance sheets
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with outstanding communication and presentation abilities
- Process optimization and information systems expertise
- Excel and data visualization wizardry, along with proficiency in financial software and tools
- Coaching and guiding junior accountants experience, with The ability to work autonomously and meet tight deadlines
