Form of workHealth, Safety and Wellbeing, Metro HR are looking for a Senior Safety Consultant to join their team. (Add a few sentences about the unit or hospital). The purpose of this role is to ensure representation of health, safety and wellbeing needs and facilitate initiatives with leaders appropriately engaged in health safety and wellbeing. This role works within the Distributed Care Team encompassing both hospital and community based healthcare services with a business partnering approach for the key client (See below for details of the key client).

About the Role
- Work collaboratively with colleagues in Safety Operations teams to maintain service continuity to a hospital and community based healthcare services, and throughout Metro South Health.
- Contribute to the development, implementation and evaluation of HSW strategies, systems and procedures in collaboration with relevant stakeholders and the Principal Safety Consultant, Distributed Care and Services.
- Undertake auditing and assessments of relevant practices and systems to facilitate effective safety performance is aligned with organisational expectations, accreditation requirements, emerging trends and benchmarks.
- Lead and participate in the investigation of serious or complex incidents and contribute to the growth of safety culture through learning.
