Role Overview
The Senior Sales Manager for ANZ’s Southern Region leads Victoria, Tasmania, Canberra, South Australia and Western Australia and reports to the Regional Vice President for Australia, New Zealand Sales. You will thrive in this role through understanding target customers and overall cloud dynamics to launch new products, services, and technologies to customers, F5 Sales, and channel partners. You will ensure business integrity in relationships with customers and partners, and drive continuous change and flexibility in the organization. This role is primarily based out of Melbourne with hybrid and flexible work practices part of our F5 way of working. Some travel is required.

What You’ll Do
- Drive Sales Results
You will be accountable for sales quota, revenue growth and market momentum within the region, while building new and improving existing business partnerships. This role has true end to end impact in developing the strategy for the region and leading the planning, forecast implementation and establishing quotas aligned with corporate guidance. - Leading an Experienced Sales Team
You will be highly motivated to establish best-of-breed people programs/initiatives for talent acquisition, skills development and performance coaching to raise the bar and talent capabilities in the region. Your team will look to you for clear direction and communication, articulating and measuring overall team objectives and goals as well as leading a strong culture of inclusion and collaboration to achieve team engagement and great business outcomes. - Channel Development
Work closely with Asia Pacific Channel Leader and purposefully with channel partners across the region to build greater lead-generation and reseller efficiency. Continue to strengthen channels infrastructure that support daring growth in the region. - Brand & Marketing
Improve F5 brand and external presence in the region and act as the principal spokesperson for the region.

- Results-oriented, global strategic thinking, accountability and commitment to overachievement coupled with a well-adapted focus on stretch goals and metrics of success, building systems and processes to deliver long-term sustainability.
- Assess the implementation of a solution, the positive results as well as the challenges, and be able to clearly communicate the assessment.
- Converse with technical and business personnel fluently at all levels of the organization.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; MBA is a plus.
- A demonstrated ability in a similar role
- A proven individual in general management for an enterprise technology business.
- Experience in enterprise sales with a mixed model of direct and indirect sell. Previous experience with technology companies selling software, security, PAAS, SAAS, or IAAS is a must
- Having experience or understanding of F5’s market position as well as a great network of Telco, Banking, Government enterprise customers and industry contacts.
- Proven success in identifying, attracting, developing, and engaging top talent while growing a business.
