Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 4 of EBA5 * 9 day fortnight

• 72.5 hour fortnight
• Hybrid, flexible working environment, including some work from home days.

About our opportunityThe Service Desk Officers support end users of IT systems and services, officers are first point of contact and assist users and other support staff in resolving issues. This position will see you provide user support and troubleshoot ICT problems and issues that enables users to maximise their productivity through uninterrupted, efficient, and secure use of ICT equipment and application.In addition, you will

• Routinely provision new IT services and equipment to users and manage faulty and obsolete end-user equipment
• monitor and process incoming Service Desk requests
• perform on-site support to user by installing computers, hardware and software
• participate in mandatory on-call roster, after-hours remote and on-site assistance, and sliding start and finish times

About youWe are seeking someone with considerable technical knowledge with problem solving ability, previous experience in a similar role and understating of processes and systems will be an advantage along with high level customer service skills essential.Your positive and helpful nature will see you as a trusted team member when being first point of contact in receiving and handling requests for support.
