Shopper Development Manager

Join a leading FMCG giant in this pivotal role that will be responsible for the responsible for the development and execution of category strategy. Utilize insights and category solutions to bring to life new product development, shelf layouts, in-store POS & other in-store activities while ensuring alignment and clear communication across the larger team.

About this role:

• You will lead the development and execution of category strategy as well as the mining of category insights across multiple data sources and consolidate consumer and shopper knowledge to develop category stories
• You will work closely with one of the country's largest retail businesses as a Category Consultant
• You will utilize your ability to work as a team player by cross-functionally engaging with various teams namely Insights, Retail marketing and Consumer Marketing
• Use your experience with JDA Space Planning tool to focus on planogram development
• Translate data and analytics into relevant customer planning

About you?

• You have 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar commercial/category role within the FMCG space
• You possess advanced technical skills and presentation software like Microsoft Suite (Excel and Powerpoint)
• You have high level skills in diplomacy, tact, initiative and judgement and work under pressure and meet deadlines.
