About the role:
At UDC our Service Leaders supervise day-to-day service operations, always working to meet the essential needs of the people we support and their team.
Key Role Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of best practice service delivery and embrace a culture of continuous improvement, work collaboratively with members of the leadership and support team
- You will act as an interface between leaders, people we support, direct employees and families and will assist in the development, implementation, and review of Individual Plans (IPs) ensuring the UDC service methodology of person lead support is upheld at all times.
- Disability Support Work; provide personal cares, supervision and support for people with disabilities in their home and community with a focus to work with individuals to maximize their physical and mental wellbeing.
- Attend Team Meetings to roll out and/or review protocols, behavior support strategies, IP progress, programs and to discuss other relevant issues
- Ensure that Policy & Procedures are being adhered to
- Provide guidance and coaching to staff to assist them to understand all service and client related protocols, programs and documentation
- Notify management of any on-going staffing issues or concerns and provide feedback and recommendations for the resolution
- Ensure that regular contact with families is occurring and be the contact person when service issues need to be followed up with families

Prior to commencement, you will need the following
- Driver’s License
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Work Rights to work in Australia ie: Birth Certificate, Passport, Citizenship Certificate
- Smart Phone
- Caring for people who have a disability is desirable.
- Managing challenging and/or unusual behaviors or complex behaviors desirable
- CERT III or IV in Disability/Mental Health/Community Services or equivalent advantageous
