Cadox Building Design is a professional Building Design and Drafting firm located in the Outer Eastern suburbs (Lilydale, Vic, 3140) and we are seeking a new Social Media and Administrative Assistant to join our close-knit team!
Part Time / Full Time Position Available
*Working hours negotiable / Monday - Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm
2 weeks Full Time training will be provided.
Job Description & Roles:
This is a diverse role where you will be working closely with the Director to ensure operations are running smoothly, whilst handling a variety of different tasks throughout the office. You will be required to assist in basic marketing / Social Media for the business.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Answering & diverting calls and booking client meetings
- Quoting new projects
- Liaising with Councils
- Ordering reports from external consultants
- Project research
- Assisting in the growth of Social Media accounts, increasing engagement
- Management of Social Media channels, creating & scheduling content (Facebook, Instagram & LinkedIn)
- Site visits, photography for marketing / Social Media
- Data Entry
- Assisting the Drafting team and Accounts with administrative tasks
- General adhoc duties such as opening and closing the office, ordering stationary & office supplies.
Our Ideal Candidate:
A candidate’s positive attitude, work ethic and efficiency are a must to us. Industry experience and/or administrative experience is preferred but not essential, as thorough training will be provided for the right applicant. Minimum of 1 year experience in a Marketing/Social Media role or similar preferred.

- Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and manager multiple tasks.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both autonomously and in a team.
Other important Skills & Qualities:
- Good spelling and grammar skills, as you will be required to construct Social Media content and emails in a professional manner.
- Ability to build a rapport with clients.
- Excellent computer skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook (Excel is a bonus)
- Knowledge and familiarity with Social Media platforms (eg. Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn) and editing software (eg. Canva, Adobe)
- Ability to follow rules and procedures.
- Punctual and reliable team player
- An office all-rounder
