With the recent launch of our new canned water brand, Thirst Trap, this is an exciting time to join our team based in Surry Hills.
Position Overview:
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for enhancing our brand awareness and supporting our overall marketing objectives.
You will be responsible for owning & growing our SOCIAL MEDIA accounts, including developing the content strategy, creating engaging content, working with creators & influencers and interacting with our audience. You will also take a lead role in cultivating new relationships and managing brand partnerships as well as planning, executing & representing the company at events and activations.
We need someone who is autonomous, hands-on, highly organised and self-motivated with strong attention to detail. Our ideal candidate will be able to work across multiple brands with different personalities, tone of voice, target audiences and content styles.
Your day-to-day:
SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGEMENT
- Own, grow & manage our SOCIAL MEDIA accounts, including daily monitoring, posting and interacting with our audience
- Creating compelling content in line with brand guidelines across various platforms to engage our target audience and evolving industry & SOCIAL MEDIA trends
- Manage the commissioning of creators & influencers, negotiating deliverables within budget & approving content in line with the strategy
- Initiation and end-to-end management of brand collabs & giveaways
MARKETING SUPPORT
- Coordinate brand activations that increase brand awareness & advocacy
- Attend activations, events & tradeshows for marketing support & content purposes
- Assist with the creation of marketing collateral such as EDMs, newsletters, etc.
- Coordinate the production and distribution of marketing materials, including POS, flyers and promotional merchandise
- Handle ad-hoc admin tasks across the marketing & sales functions
Our ideal candidate:
- Has 2+ years of marketing experience in a coordinator role
- Has basic graphic design (canva), photography & video editing skills
- Is comfortable being in front of the camera!
- Experienced in coordinating brand activations and/or events
- Can write engaging SOCIAL MEDIA copy (or you’re a natural with tech tools like ChatGPT)
- Understands the Australian influencer & creator landscape and evolving SOCIAL MEDIA trends
- Is comfortable managing a budget
- Can develop, execute, monitor and optimise paid Meta ad campaigns (not a deal-breaker)
- Is fun, bold, energetic and a good collaborator!
