We are seeking an enthusiastic Grade 2Speech Pathologist to join our dynamic Speech Pathology Department on a temporary basis.
Based at Sunshine Hospital, this role offers an exciting and rewarding opportunity to upskill in complex clinical care in the acute setting with a focus on Stroke and Neurology, work in a collaborative multi-disciplinary environment and provide staff supervision and clinical education.
This position is:
- Full time
- Temporary until Dec 2024
To be Successful in this Role you:
- Will have highly developed clinical skills to assess and manage dysphagia and communication impairment within the acute setting
- Will work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Will provide clinical supervision to staff and/or students
- Will contribute to quality improvement and professional development
- Will ensure safe and high quality patient care is delivered in line with Western Health values and policies.
