Language for Life Speech Pathology services is a busy multidisciplinary private practice offering speech pathology, occupational therapy, physiotherapy, dietetics and psychology based in Melbourne & offers services to a paediatric and adult individuals across their local community. The practice prides itself on a reputation for delivering quality communication outcomes to clients & provide services under the NDIS.
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Speech Pathologists to deliver in clinic or mobile services to paediatric and/or adult individuals across their local community.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Work with individuals, their families and their key stakeholders to develop individualised plans and services to clients
- Develop holistic therapy plans within a multidisciplinary team and provide direct clinic-based intervention and support programs.
Qualifications & experience
- Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent)
- Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia (with CPSP status)
- Eligibility for Medicare Provider status
- NDIS Worker Screening Check
- WWC Check
- Current Professional Indemnity Insurance and Public Liability Insurance (Certificate of Currency)
- Experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder is preferable
- Current First Aid Certificate (desirable)
- 24 months experience working as a Speech Pathologist with a paediatric population (preferred)
- New Grads are welcome to apply as well.
