Join us as State Manager Queensland for the Motion Business Area where you will be responsible to provide professional, timely, and high-quality service and support to ABB customers by managing and leading the service engineers to achieve their individual targets. Your focus will also be to deliver and exceed the financial, quality, Safety, Development, and Retention targets. Reporting to the Motion Service Division Manager this position will be based in Eagle Farm, Australia.
Your responsibilities
- Guiding, motivating, and developing direct and indirect subordinates.Executing service and sales traction strategy within own area of responsibility and eexecuting service sales field service strategy
- Building sustainable customer relationships to ensure growth, satisfaction, and retention of customers together with sales. Developing a deep understanding of respective key accounts to ensure the complete portfolio is being driven across the installbase
- Working with key stakeholders to identify new business opportunities in line with global strategic priorities
- Developing good understanding of respective local markets, competitive environments and ABB position and acting as key contact for the customer and an escalation point for project issues
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders and effectively communicates with all stakeholders
- Driving, implementing, reporting and monitoring performance targets as part of the respective unit P&L (financial, productivity, investments, customer satisfaction, operational excellence, etc.)
- Running the day-to-day service business to ensure profitable growth and improvement of service productivity. Responsible for Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and all other business compliance standards and regulations in own area of responsibility
- Ensuring a safe work environment and continuous improvement in HSE processes and integrity performance throughout the service organization
Your background
- Experience in the delivery of service agreements
- Demonstrated experience in operation excellence of service engineers
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate excellent time management skills and be an excellent communicator
- Experience in SAP is advantageous
- A broad understanding of industry requirements to deliver Motor overhaul service into the Traction segment or similar including detailed and applied knowledge of the workshop operational requirement to drive revenue and profitability management.
- Strong leadership capabilities and ability to develop team members and implement change management
