We currently are looking to strengthen our Inventory team and are seeking applications for a Stock Controller (reporting to the Inventory Manager) to be based at our Condell Park Office.
As a Stock Controller, you will play a vital role in maintaining accurate inventory levels, ensuring stock is located in optimum location to facilitate sales demand and ensuring efficient stock management processes.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels for all apparel products.
- Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile any discrepancies with sales and purchase orders.
- Implement and execute efficient stock control procedures.
- Analyze sales trends and demand patterns to anticipate stock requirements to ensure optimum stock levels at all locations
- Identify slow-moving or obsolete stock items and propose appropriate actions.
- Generate detailed reports on inventory levels, stock movements, and discrepancies.
- Coordinate with relevant departments to accurately process stock returns and credits.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding stock availability, back orders, and any potential inventory challenges.
We are looking for individuals with strong attention to detail, previous experience in stock management (with some proficiency in stock management systems), analytical mindset to understand and resolve issues, good organization skills and some one who is willing to learn and grow with the organization.
