Your opportunity
A temporary Strategic Property Projects Officer opportunity has opened in our Environment and Regulation team. You will be responsible for overseeing the project management and optimal model of delivery for major Strategic Property Projects. This role requires a blend of project management, contractor coordination and strategic planning expertise to ensure alignment with a range of strategic organisational and external stakeholder objectives.
Guided by our Values, you will:
- manage significant projects for the Strategic Property Unit.
- perform complex functions in various fields associated with the provision of project management services in Local Government relating to quality systems, project controls, design activities and construction activities.
- seek innovative solutions including identifying grant funding to ensure the program or projects achieve corporate goals, deadlines and commitments.
- develop, execute and monitor risk, procurement, resources, and communications plans that engage and manage project stakeholders and their expectations.

- has substantial knowledge and experience in delivering the phases and systems of multiple significant infrastructure projects concurrently using industry accepted frameworks (Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) or Prince2).
- has demonstrated ability to effectively engage and lead consultants and project teams where team members can come from a variety of diverse strategic and operational business units.
- has demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining strong working relationships to facilitate collaborative partnership approaches.
has high level problem solving and research / analytical skills, including the ability to obtain and interpret information and make specific recommendations.

Eligibility
- You'll hold Current Class “C” Drivers Licence
