The Role
We have a newly created opportunity for an experienced Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our diverse, dynamic and innovative team in this fulltime permanent position.
The Talent Acquisition Specialist, within the People & Culture team, is responsible for delivering exceptional high quality recruitment services across the School. Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Manager, the successful candidate will collaborate closely with People & Culture Partners and Campus Hiring Managers to align with Caulfield Grammar School's Vision and Purpose. The role will manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle whilst ensuring exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Working within the P&C team, the role as may also provide support across P&C projects and initiatives where required.
Key Duties
- Partner with Hiring Managers in delivering end to end recruitment assignments as per Recruitment Policy and Procedures
- Develop and implement innovative and effective recruitment strategies and campaigns, using various channels and platforms, to attract and engage diverse and high-quality talent.
- Ensure effective attraction, recruitment and selection strategies to best support objectives and attract talent in a competitive market
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including hiring managers and candidates
- Manage relationships with external recruitment agencies and providers where required
- Participate and contribute to P&C initiatives through involvement in problem solving and creative innovative solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Talent Acquisition function, by identifying opportunities for enhancement.
- Assist with effective and efficient On-boarding processes and induction, where required
- Model and live the Caulfield Grammar School values and behaviours.
Skills and Experience
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline.
- Previous experience in end-to-end recruitment, staffing strategies and offer negotiation
- Experience in supporting a range of generalist People & Culture functions providing subject matter expertise, coaching and advice
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience in using recruitment and HRIS systems
- Hold or willing to obtain an Employment Working With Children Check.
