In this unique, client-focussed role, you will be responsible for the delivery of library services on evenings and weekends, supervising staff, resolving emergent issues, managing client behaviour incidents, and liaising with key stakeholders.
You will leverage your experience as an information professional to deliver research and information services to library patrons both onsite and online, utilising a wide range of information resources and heritage collections.
This role will provide you with opportunities to develop your leadership skills. You will contribute to the development of library policies and procedures and play a key role in ensuring a safe and welcoming experience for all State Library visitors.
Weekend and evening work during State Library's advertised opening hours are a requirement of this position.
