Our Global Enterprise client is looking for a Junior IT Support/System administrator with 1-2 years experience for 6/12 month contract providing support to all members of staff in the APAC region. Training with latest technologies will be offered to the successful candidate. Reporting to the IT Support Manager this role will require excellent communication skills working with users across all APAC offices with a mix of over the phone, in person and messaging platforms comms.
The following is a mixture of skills/abilities and tasks for this position.
- Supporting entire APAC region through helpdesk ticketing environment.
- Build and set up Laptops for new staff and shipping to APAC region
- L1 IT support using helpdesk ticket environment
- Administration of Jira, Windows and Mac Operating Systems ideally.
- Linux sys/admin experience desirable
- Experience writing shell scripts for systems admin
- Monitor, diagnose Windows 10, OSX, Mobile Devices (Android, iOS) issues and provide support on it.
- Some Office 365 set up and administration
- Exposure to ITIL Policies and Procedures, specifically Incident, Request, Knowledge and Problem Management.
- Working on Office 365 Applications - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Assisted on Networking and Voice technologies and possess the ability to troubleshoot.
- Assisted to work with Printers, mobility and Audio
