AddressOur client is seeking a highly motivated, technically minded and solutions-focused person, with an electrical background (preferably industrial electrician) to join our team in the Industrial Electrical Engineering industry.
As a Technical Sales Representative, you will act as a liaison between our company and our clients, providing technical expertise and solutions to meet their specific electrical needs, including new equipment, repairs and overhauls. You will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies, conducting product presentations, negotiating contracts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Understand customer requirements, provide technical solutions tailored to their needs, present and demonstrate our products and services to potential customers.
- Prepare, negotiate, and deliver technical presentations/contracts for clients.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies and achieve targets.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain relationships with existing and new clients through regular communication.
- Provide technical support to customers throughout the sales process and after-sales support.
- Expanding on current inbound sales and growing the businesses outbound sales.
- Trade or Tertiary qualifications in the Electrical field (electrical trade preferable).
- Experience of success in developing and resolving technical issues and presenting the solution to your customer (internal or external), preferably in the electrical or industrial equipment supply and/or service industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with strong capability in developing and nurturing professional relationships.
- Strong knowledge of representing principles and technical concepts.
- Knowledge of electrical equipment, machinery & industrial applications, such as motors, automation & controls, electrical distribution equipment and electromagnetic systems.
- Experience in sales and business development is desirable, and experience developing proposals and presenting solutions to customers is highly regarded.
