The Role
We are currently seeking to appoint an experienced Sales professional to join our NSW Sales Team as a Technical Sales Representative, servicing the Central and Southern Regions, located in Sydney or Wollongong.
To be successful in the role, you will:
- Grow and developing your territory including the existing customer base
- Partner with end users and distributors to identify new opportunities
- Develop and execute Customer Sales Plans
- Drive sales and margin growth for the Company
- Manage your sales opportunities in Salesforce (the world leading CRM)
- Be proficient in Word / Excel, Outlook - SAP/CRM desirable.
- Excel with your time management and reporting skills
The Candidate
The ideal candidate will be passionate about welding, have a commercial orientation with 5+ years’ experience in welding, welding applications in engineering, fabrication, mining, oil and gas or pipelines.
You will be a Sales professional with 5+ years Sales and Account Management experience, have a professional presentation, be self-motivated and have the confidence to establish new business opportunities, alongside the ability to sustain customer relationships are all key for this role.
The ability to network and develop relationships with key distributors and end users is also essential to this role. Naturally, there will be a requirement for travel in this role based on your customers and sales territory and work overtime as required.
