Key Outcomes and Accountabilities
The aim of this role is to:
* Develop and embed regulatory professional and technical competency frameworks and learning pathways to equip the QBCC People with education programs to support and drive a high-performance Regulatory culture.
* Apply customer centric approaches to designing and delivering training solutions and apply collaborative approaches to the scope of work within your unit and across the broader organisation.
* In conjunction with regulatory services, you will conduct needs analyses to identify the skills and knowledge requirements of team members and develop and implement strategies to meet these requirements in accordance utilising the '70:20:10' approach to learning and application of knowledge.
* You will apply your leadership and management skills to ensure best practices methods are embedded. Additionally utilising your experience in adult learning and instructional design to facilitate and support divisions to create and deliver technical educational programs.
* Partner and collaborate with subject matter experts to develop appropriate systems and strategies to evaluate and enhance the effectiveness of technical training programs in both regulatory services units and the academy.
* Take a customer-centric and teamwork approach in training solutions, and partner wit the Learning and Development team for all leadership and critical skills training.
* Ensure practical competency-based training is tailored to the needs of specific business units by designing for the purpose training materials and programs that reflect QBCC Regulatory Services requirements.
* Provide advice and options to senior management regarding training requirements and report on the progress of training initiatives in collaboration with senior management o identify areas for continuous improvement.

* Demonstrated knowledge and experience in developing, implementing, and embedding regulatory theory and practice, and/or regulatory professional capability frameworks.
* The ability to assess current state processes and apply a continuous improvement lens to align and embed future state capability frameworks to meet organisational objectives and excellent outcomes.
* Knowledge and experience in technical pathways and instructional design, and develop, deliver, and facilitate high quality training programs.
* Demonstrated skills in research and analysis to support senior level decision making and the development of strategies supporting adult learning.
* Demonstrated commitment to collaborative engagement and problems solving.
* High level written and oral communication skills including the ability to develop and conduct face to face/web enabled Training and coach technical and regulatory teams.
