About the Role
As a VE Senior Services Officer, you will join a high-performing team operating under a shared services model for the College of Vocational Education (VE). You will provide administrative expertise for activities relating to quality and compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to quality and compliance activities relating to vocational programs delivered by RMIT (i.e., business and enterprise, creative industries, future technologies, social care and health, and built environments and sustainability). You will develop new skills and a breadth of experience and have a genuine impact on the RMIT vocational education community.
About You
You will be a strong team player, with a dynamic and flexible approach to work. You are motivated by working on multiple projects and tasks concurrently and enjoy being part of a team where no two days are the same.
To be successful in this position, you’ll have:
Highly developed interpersonal skills and proven ability to build and maintain strong collaborative working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
Excellent problem-solving skills, including demonstrated experience developing and delivering complex written reports to a high standard and with a high level of attention to detail.
Demonstrated experience in providing high quality customer service to internal and external stakeholders and experience managing complex queries in a fast-paced, large scale environment.
High level oral and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of individuals and groups from diverse backgrounds.
Ability to show flexibility and initiative by working independently and with limited direction, and effectively within a dynamic small team environment.
Proven significant administrative experience in planning, organising and prioritising work in a busy environment with multiple and conflicting priorities and competing deadlines.
Demonstrated expertise in developing, recommending and implementing changes and improvements to administrative procedures and functions.
Demonstrated ability to use information and communication technologies effectively, including Microsoft suite, web and email software and database use.
